When to change the timing belt Peugeot 308 SW

• Peugeot 308 SW 1.4 VTi = Timing chain, check and replace if necessary after 10 years. 
• Peugeot 308 SW 1.6 VTi = Timing chain, check and replace if necessary after 10 years. 
• Peugeot 308 SW 1.6 16v 80 kW = 120 000 Kilometres or after a maximum of 10 years.
• Peugeot 308 SW 1.6 BioFlex 80 kW = 120 000 Kilometres or after a maximum of 10 years.
• Peugeot 308 SW 2.0 16v 103 kW = 120 000 Kilometres or after a maximum of 10 years.

Petrol variants produced from 2014 onwards -

• Peugeot 308 SW 1.2 VTi 60 kW = unknown.  
• Peugeot 308 SW 1.2 THP 81 and 96 kW = unknown.  
• Peugeot 308 SW 1.6 THP 92 and 115 kW = Timing chain, check and replace if necessary after 10 years. 

Diesel Variants produced between 2007 and 2013

• Peugeot 308 SW 1.6 HDi all variants = 240 000 Kilometres or after a maximum of 10 years.
