When to replace the Renault Fluence timing belt
The Renault Fluence is a compact car by Renault and has been on the market since 2009, with an electric model also available since 2012. The Renault Fluence comes with both petrol and diesel engines. Petrol variants produced from 2010 onwards:
- Renault Fluence 1.6 16V = 120 000 Kilometres or up to 6 years;
- Renault Fluence 2.0 16V = Timing chain.
Diesel variants produced from 2010 onwards:
- Renault Fluence 1.5 dCi (up to 05/2012) = 160 000 Kilometres or up to 6 years;
- Renault Fluence 1.5 dCi (from 06/2012) = 150 000 Kilometres or up to 6 years.
Electric motor variants produced from 2012 onwards:
- Renault Fluence Z.E. = No distribution belt,- or chain.
