When to replace the Renault Modus timing belt

The Renault Modus and Grand Modus are MPV models from Renault. These models come with both petrol and diesel engines. Below is an overview of the timing belt replacement intervals. If you don't know which engine your car has, you can enter the license plate number below.

Petrol variants produced from 2011 onwards:

  • Renault Modus / Grand Modus 1.2 = 120 000 Kilometres or up to 6 years;
  • Renault Modus / Grand Modus 1.2 16V Hi-Flex = 120 000 Kilometres or up to 6 years;
  • Renault Modus / Grand Modus 1.2 16V = 120 000 Kilometres or up to 6 years;
  • Renault Modus / Grand Modus 1.4 = 120 000 Kilometres or up to 6 years;
  • Renault Modus / Grand Modus 1.6 = 120 000 Kilometres or up to 6 years.

Diesel Variants produced from 2011 onwards:

  • Renault Modus / Grand Modus 1.5 dCi = 120 000 Kilometres or up to 5 years;
  • Renault Modus / Grand Modus 1.5 dCi 75 = 120 000 Kilometres or up to 6 years;
  • Renault Modus / Grand Modus 1.5 dCi 90 = 120 000 Kilometres or up to 6 years.
