Petrol variants produced from 2007 onwards -

• VW Tiguan 1.4 TSI all variants = Timing chain, check and replace if necessary after 10 years.
• VW Tiguan 2.0 TSI all variants = Timing chain, check and replace if necessary after 10 years.

Diesel Variants produced from 2007 onwards -

• VW Tiguan 2.0 TDI all variants up to 2009 =. 180 000 Kilometres. No maximum number of years. Maximum 10 years is recommended.
• VW Tiguan 2.0 TDI all variants from 2010 =. 210 000 Kilometres. No maximum number of years. Maximum 10 years is recommended.
