When to replace the VW Touareg timing belt

Petrol variants manufactured between 2002 and 2010

  • VW Touareg 3.2 V6 all variants = Timing chain, check and replace if necessary after 10 years.
  • VW Touareg 3.6 FSI V6 206 kW = Timing chain, check and replace if necessary after 10 years.
  • VW Touareg 4.2 V8 228 kW = 120 000 Kilometres. No maximum number of years. Maximum 10 years is recommended.
