Petrol variants manufactured between 1987 and 1996

  • Mazda 121 1.1 42 kW =  Every 100 000 kilometres or after a maximum of 5 years.
  • Mazda 121 1.3 all variants =  Every 100 000 kilometres or after a maximum of 5 years.

Petrol variants manufactured between 1996 and 2003

  • Mazda 121 1.25 55 kW =  Every 150 000 kilometres or after a maximum of 10 years. 
  • Mazda 121 1.3 37 and 44 kW =  Timing chain. Check and replace if necessary after 10 years. 

Diesel variants manufactured between 1996 and 2003
