When to replace the Peugeot 208 timing belt

Petrol variants produced from 2012 onwards -

  • Peugeot 208 1.0 VTi 50 kW = 175 000 Kilometres or after a maximum of 10 years.
  • Peugeot 208 1.2 60 kW = 175 000 Kilometres or after a maximum of 10 years.
  • Peugeot 208 1.2 THP 81 kW = 175 000 Kilometres or after a maximum of 10 years.
  • Peugeot 208 1.4 VTi 70 kW = Timing chain, check and replace if necessary after 10 years.
  • Peugeot 208 1.6 VTi 88 and 115 kW =. Timing chain, check and replace if necessary after 10 years.
  • Peugeot 208 1.6 THP 121 kW = Timing chain, check and replace if necessary after 10 years.
  • Peugeot 208 1.6 GTi 147 and 153 kW = Timing chain, check and replace if necessary after 10 years.

Diesel Variants produced from 2012 -
