When to replace the Ford Ranger timing belt

  • Ford Ranger 2.5 TD 62 and 80 kW = 100 000 Kilometres or after a maximum of 5 years.
  • Ford Ranger 2.5 TDdi 105 kW = 120 000 Kilometres or after a maximum of 6 years.
  • Ford Ranger 2.5 TDCi 105 kW = 120 000 Kilometres or after a maximum of 6 years.
  • Ford Ranger 3.0 TDCi 115 kW = 120 000 Kilometres or after a maximum of 6 years.
  • Ford Ranger 2.2 TDCi all variants = Timing chain. Check and replace if necessary after 10 years.
  • Ford Ranger 3.2 TDCi 147 kW = Timing chain. Check and replace if necessary after 10 years.
