Your BMW's tyre pressure should be checked monthly so you can enjoy optimal performance. In addition, wrong tyre pressure can cause high fuel consumption and tyres can wear out faster or irregularly.
BMW tyre pressure overview
The table below lists all the tyre pressures known to us, sorted by model and tyre size. The model line starts with the BMW 1 series, followed by the BMW 2 series, 3 series, 5 series etc. In some models, the front tyres are narrower than the rear tyres. If there are no values behind the front or rear tyres, they are not fitted in that position. For example, you might have 225/45/17 tyres at the front and 245/45/17 at the back. This is particularly the case with heavier engines, such as the six and eight-cylinder models.
This table lists the ex-factory tyres and rim sizes. If you have aftermarket rims, you should consult that supplier for the correct tyre pressure.
